[CUSTOMER FEEDBACK] Bulk Update in Fixed Assets is rather underwhelming

dliddle
The bulk update feature for fixed assets has incredible potential to quickly update/correct/standardize repeated information, but has been very limited. Additionally allowing bulk updates to all of the one-to-many fields (category, name, manufacturer, model/part/purchase order number, vendor, purchase date, warranty, notes, and picture upload) would increase the functionality of this tool immensely.

I understand that there can be underlying reasons for making such options not available, such as software capability limitations, minimizing usability to development costs ratio, or safeguarding data integrity from inevitable user error. I would like to know if these options are possible, and if so, why aren't they made available?

Hi, thank you for your thoughtful feedback on the fixed asset bulk update feature.  We are currently developing Q Ware version 3 and anticipate enhancing this feature during this effort and will be sure to incorporate as many of the fields you suggested as possible.
